3RVS is a not for profit organization. Excess funds from its general account are used to promote bicycling related activities in the Fort Wayne area. 3RVS also supports several national bicycling organizations including Adventure Cycling Association, League of American Bicyclists, Indiana Bicycling Coalition and Rails to Trails Conservancy.

3RVS holds monthly meetings and publishes a monthly newsletter, Quick Release,  which is distributed to all members.  The 3RVS club meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at the First Wayne Street United Methodist Church located at 300 E. Wayne Street in the downtown area of Fort Wayne, at 7:30 p.m.

During the bicycling season, from March to October, the club offers weekend touring / recreational rides of from 15 to 60+ miles, weeknight training rides for those interested in race training or a super-fitness workout, and even evening conditioning rides on Tuesdays and touring rides on Wednesdays.  See the schedules for current ride information.

In addition, 3RVS organizes and supports several bicycling oriented annual events. This year's events include The New Year's Day Chilly Challenge and the Three Rivers Festival Bicycle Tour.
