The 2010 Girls Ride Out will start on April 8th.  The rides will leave the parking lot at 6PM from St. Pats Church in Arcola.

In April, the rides will be approximately 20 miles at about 13-15 mile per hour.
As the days get longer and we get stronger, the distance will gradually increase up to a 35 mile route and the speed will AVERAGE around 15 MPH. Therefore, we may ride a bit slower into the wind but will most likely pick it up a bit with the wind at our backs.

I will post on this forum of any cancellations or changes to the ride by 4:30PM day of the ride.
Just so you know - we will not start the ride in the rain, nor will we if winds are above 15 mph.  Please check the weather channel and be your own judge. Everyone's tolerance level is different.
This ride is for fun and we must think of safety first.

Things to know before you set out to ride. Have your bike in good rolling order, check your tires and air them before the ride...also, lubricate your bike chain.
Keep your helmet, gloves, sunglasses, wind jacket and items you need for your ride all together so you don't forget anything you will need.

Most of the time the church is left unlocked for us to use the restrooms but when Father is gone he locks it.
