-Minutes presented for meeting of September 3, 2015. Motion to accept minutes, seconded, vote carried, and minutes accepted.

-Treasurers report by Hugh.  Expenditures include club clothing; supplies, pavilion rental and staffing for Club Century Ride; donation to FWPD Bike Patrol; Club Time Trial staffing by Antwerp Police Dept.  Revenues include membership and cycling cap / clothing purchase.  Final Festival Tour Report:  (-) $95.92.  Final Century Tour Report:  $248.99 expenditures; $68.76 donations.

-Touring report by Patrick.  Steve could not make the meeting due to cycling injury, but asked Patrick to forward touring information.  Supported weekend touring to end Sunday, November 1st.  Weekend Show N’ Go touring to start Saturday, November 7th and will be led, again, by Steve Souers.  Steve will post the schedule on the 3RVS website.

The 3RVS September Strava Challenge had 42 club members participate.  32 members will receive award medallions for completing aggregated levels from 500 km to 1610 km.  Overall standings:  1. Steve Pequignot; 2. Matt Misner; 3. Jody Thomas; 4. Rob Hentz.  Women’s overall:  1. Diane Kennedy; 2. Amy Copeland; 3. Mona Will.

The National Bike Challenge ended September 30th and 3RVS was first in 50-99 participant group and finished 6th overall.  All clubs finishing 1-5 had at least 230 participants.  Individually, 3RVS took the first 10 places for the Indiana individual competition with Steve Pequignot finishing first.

Off-Road Report by Patrick.  Phil could not attend.  Franke rides are finally happening with regularity.  New riders are showing up on most every ride.  All Saturdays in October will be work days for leaf removal.

Newsletter and clothing report by Kathy.  Club clothing should arrive by October 9th.  Contact Kathy for purchase and pick up.

Membership Report by Jane.  319 total, 136 family, 183 individual, 87 new members.  The total is a club high as remembered by long-time club members.

Publicity Report by Mona.  Visit Fort Wayne has been contacted by promoting rides in Fort Wayne.  Mona will follow up next spring for a more detailed publication of events with Visit Fort Wayne.  Contact person:  Kristine Guthrie.  Mona talked about surveying club members to query suggestions.  She researched Survey Monkey and found a fee of $228 a year.  Also, there is a discrepancy of club membership to Facebook membership.  200 more Facebook members than club members.  Why?  Survey could explain.  Kathy brought up membership role from last year to this year.  Although the club has 87 new members, 75 members from last year did not re-up their membership.

Racing Report by Kathy.  Club member and Fort Wayne Outfitter Race Director Gary Painter, won his 4th consecutive National Time Trial Championship in the Master Division in September.  Gary competed in the World TT Championship and finished 5th in Masters.

Webmaster Report by Mike.  Online vendor, Bike Reg, will continue to be the 3RVS vendor for the club.  Mike is researching a better payment system with Bike Reg.  Currently, the vendor only makes two payments per event.  In the case of membership, this meant 3RVS did not get paid regularly throughout the year.  Mike is in communication with Bike Reg to correct this system of payment.  The club will be paid once a month for deposits over $100.

Additional Items of Interest:

3RVS Century Tour Wrap Up:  67 participants, temperature in the upper 80s and sunny.  The location was the Festival Tour route from Hickory Center Middle School to Churubusco Park with loops to complete 100 miles.

End of Year Party:

The party will be Friday, December 4th at Sweetwater Sound.  John Grabowski presented information about the event’s room and contact information.  Sweetwater has its own kitchen and staff to make meals and John suggested contacting the staff for meal preparation cost for the club party.  Patrick will follow up.

Chilly Challenge Update:

Mona Will has taken the lead on organizing the Chilly Challenge for January 1, 2016.  She will contact Tim Claypool for details.  She is looking for volunteer help with the day’s activities.

Meeting adjourned at 8:45pm
