As an early reminder, our Annual Labor Day Century Tour on Monday, September 2, start time is 9:00 AM., at Huntertown Elementary School. If you like century rides, you should like this one, it’s a great route. There will be a rest stop every 25 miles. The first stop will be at Woodburn at mile 25. The second rest stop will be a fully complemented SAG stop at Cecil, Ohio, the half way point. At Cecil, we will meet up with MTB Director, Phil Snider and his group, who will be doing their own short circuit century, consisting of several short loops in the Hicksville/Cecil, Ohio area. From Cecil, the Huntertown Century Group will continue on to The Delaware Bend, then on to Hicksville for our last rest stop at the 75-mile point before returning to Huntertown to complete the 100-mile loop. If you are not up for a full century, there are two shorter, non-SAG supported routes of 60 and 75 miles on the Huntertown Century route. This is a scenic ride on low traveled county roads. The route is flat, except for a few rollers in the first eight and last eight miles of the tour.
