-Meeting called to order 7:30PM. By Patrick welcome extended to all in attendance including club members Rick Bokern, Jim Reily and John Grabowski.
-Reviewed meeting minutes of March 3, 2016, call for correction, or addition. Joe made a motion to accept minutes as presented Steve second, vote carried.

-Treasurers report by Hugh. March debits include donations to Fort Wayne Trails and Heart of the City; subscription for 3RVS web domain name.  Deposits include membership dues and clothing reimbursement.  Projected expenses for April – Three Rivers Festival official event fee; Festival ride start and sag location reservations. 

-Touring report by Steve.  A committee has formed for the National Bike Challenge that the club will participate in for 2016.  Volunteers include Amy Copland, Steve Pequignot, Jim Reily and Patrick Stelte.  Team Yellow will consist of 99 club members.  After the first 99 spots are filled the balance will be placed in a reserve White team (club jersey colors).  If a member of the first 99 cannot fulfill the team requirements than a reserve member will be moved into team Yellow space to compete.  New this year is a Youth Team to invite 3RVS youth off the couch and compete in the NBC.  The youth team will not have a participant limit.  Riders in the NBC earn 1 point for each mile ridden and 20 points for each day they ride.  No special equipment is required basic bike computer to record miles and e-mail address to enter stats on NBC website.  As a way to build miles for the Challenge Joe mentioned interest in putting together a Tail Wind Century. The club is looking for members’ input as best way to transport riders and equipment to start location. 

-Off road report by Phil. Trail riding are muddy, urban riding is the alternative.  Weekend rides are trail, urban or gravel road exploring.

-Newsletter report by Kathy. Reminder to submit newsworthy information before the 18th of each month for consideration in newsletter. (Officers note: Any member interested in volunteering as a newsletter officer please contact Patrick. Now would be a good time to learn from the expert before she retires her pen.)

-Membership report by Jane. 3RVs welcomes 25 new members to the club. Totals for this meeting are 118 family memberships and 125 individuals for a total of 243.  25 new members signed up in March.

-Publicity report by Mona. She wants to list 3RVS on Ride like a Girl website. The purpose of website is to promote riding clubs and events to women with a target age group of 20 to 40 year olds.  The goal is to bring younger women into the club.  She will check other listings to see what clubs have to offer then present findings for possible addition to our club and website. Also, she is working on updated photo for club brochures.  She will need to resupply brochures soon. Mike asked for the updated photo sent to him to add to web page.

-Racing report by Joe.  Tuesday night training ride begins April 19th.  Time trials start April 20th from the old US24 at IN101 site.  10 mile TT to Antwerp and back.  Club will donate $50.00 per month to Antwerp Police department for their help with traffic at the turn around.

-Webmaster report by Mike.  He applied to continue subscription of domain name of website; upgrade from 3.4 to 3.5 and added guide lines to page; continued with monthly “house” cleaning.
 
-ITEMS OF ADDITIONAL INTEREST. Overnight camping tour with leader Jim Reily.  He is planning a bike ride camping trip to the KOA in Bluffton Indiana.  Riders will leave the start point on June 4th and return the 5th.  He would like to accommodate 15 riders with a casual ride to the south.  Mike to activate an e-mail address for questions to Jim concerning the trip.  Some final details will be addressed by those participating.  The trip will be designated as an official club ride open to members or prospective members.  Officers and members approved the weekend trip.

-Festival Tour planning. Pre-registration to end June 24th.  Mike has been entering data on website to keep information current.  Patrick trying to contact Mike Sienk for Sag support leadership.  Discussion with members present resulted in a collective decision to replace t-shirts with water bottles. Water bottles will be free to preregistered riders and for a cost to be decided for those who register day of event.

-Club Constitution revision. The remainder of meeting centered on amended club constitution for formal review.  Officers continue to clean up Constitution and bylaws.  Once completed and voted upon by club members, the document will be added to the website home page.  Due to time this topic to be continued in May.
